Supporting local isn't a fad, it's what makes the community go around. When the "big government" gets out of everyone's pockets, it gives locals the money to go out and support local business. No, I am no talking about those who support large corporations when they go out to eat... I'm talking about going to places like locally owned business by owners, who will actually serve you when you come in.
That's AllAboutNow. As a business when you support us, it enables us to live in this community and serve clients in this community. If we are supported well it gives us enough money to go out and support the local business such as coffee shops and foodie spots, but we aren't just limited there. As professionals we also support local business who help small business like ours grow, so we spend money there as well.
Photography is like espresso. We are matched to our clients. Ever visit a coffee shop that delivered horribly "burnt", biter coffee? You may go back and try again, and find you 1) like it or 2) don't. It's not that the coffee is bad, it's just your pallet doesn't like it as much as the other shop down the street. Stick to what you love, and I hope you give us a chance to be the one you love!

Business is about risk. It's never been about comfort and watching clients/customers just roll in because you open a door and put up a sign. Business costs money to make money, and the first key element over looked is properly designed /marketing/ materials and media.
I know you are smart enough that as you read this it's making sense and you are taking the stand to outlast your competitors who aren't doing their absolute best to stay in business.
